Love Island's Cara De La Hoyde and Olivia Buckland throw shade at Jessica Shears and Dom Lever as they get MARRIED on TV

Cara De La Hoyde has cattily hit out at Love Island alumni Jessica Shears and Dominic Lever after they got married in their swimwear on live TV.

The pair, who were on the subsequent series to Love Island 2016 winner Cara, stripped to bright white beach gear and said their I Do’s in front of Good Morning Britain’s Richard Arnold.

The couple are already engaged, but decided to become the first ever contestants ever to tie the knot on Wednesday’s ITV show.

During a chat beforehand, temporary host Jeremy Kyle said: "Do you want to get married now?", to which they both replied: "It's Valentine's Day, let's go for it!"

Richard, who joked he was recently ordained, held the ceremony as he recited vows with hilarious catchphrases from their time on Love Island.

All the while stunning brunette Jess, who pulled on a token flowing veil while Dom accessorised his ripped look with a black bow tie.

Cara, who recently had her first child with Love Island boyfriend Nathan Massey, didn’t seem caught up in the romantic spirit.

She took to her Twitter account to throw shade on the lovebirds, and sarcastically quip: “Surely this years lot are all just on a massive windup with us all.”

As if to stress her point further, she tagged the wide-eyed Emoji icon and a hysterical laughing face.

Fans of the mum of one backed her view of what they termed cringe-worthy proceedings. One replied: “So pleased I didn’t watch.... marriage isn’t a joke or a reason for an extra few column inches/airtime.”

Another added: “The most cringeworthy thing I’ve seen on television.
"Nothing is scared to those two...they’d sell their souls to stay relevant!” while one followed up with: “I cannot cope watching that #Desperate times call for desperate measures.”

After the ceremony, Richard said: "I now pronounce you the first couple from Love Island to get married, you may kiss the bride on the lips!"

While Kate Garraway added: "This is a good start, first ever Love Island couple to get married you have of course got big plans for your other wedding, you're not going to stick with this!"

To which Jess revealed that they were going to have their other wedding in the romantic destination of Mykonos, Greece.

Love Island’s Olivia Buckland also has taken a swipe at Jess Shears and Dom Lever for tying the knot on Good Morning Britain this morning.

Olivia and her fiancé Alex Bowen were set to be the first Love Island couple to get married after getting engaged in New York in December 2016.

But this morning in front of shocked viewers, 2017 contestants Dom Lever and Jess Shears said "I do".

Olivia took to Twitter to "like" a tweet reading: "Jess in a bikini & Dom topless getting married on GMB this morning has gotta be the most tragic thing of 2018. Imagine doing what’s meant to be the most amazing day of our life dirty like that…"

On Wednesday's special Valentine's Day Good Morning Britain, Love Island stars Jessica Shears and Dominic Lever decided to get married.
The couple are already engaged, but decided to become the first ever contestants ever to tie the knot.

"I’ve done all the main things, I’ve got a photographer, we’ve been looking at what music we want and things like that," she told OK! Online.
